Role overview:

This position is responsible for on-site support and assistance to the Photographers at all locations, including but not limited to Weylandts stores, Epping Studio and other ad-hoc locations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Photographic assistance on all shoots, at all locations – varying from Weylandts stores, Epping Studio and other ad-hoc locations.
  • Handy-man assistance on shoots, i.e. Technical, electrical, logistic. 
  • Sourcing of all the correct product, whether in Weylandts stores, or at DC, for the shoots. As well as the correct return thereof.
  • Responsibility of ensuring that all Weylandts products are returned correctly labelled/neatly positioned/safely packaged after shoots
  • Assembly and disassembly of all the correct product required for shoots, whether in Weylandts stores, or at DC.
  • Responsibility of ensuring that all shooting spaces (Epping Studio or in store) are restored to normal after the shoots, according to instruction of photographer, visual merchandiser or whomever responsible for the shooting space – and that the space is checked before shoot is completed, or before moving to another shooting area.
  • Responsibility of the safe-keeping of all product and camera equipment during shoots (to the best of ability).
  • Photograph product when the photographer is unavailable or as needed when workload is high
  • Ability to work with other casuals; stylists; other photographers; Store and DC staff.

What you bring:

  • Minimum Grade 12
  • At least 1 years’ experience in a creative / photographic environment
  • Must be willing to work overtime, if required.
