Overview:

Weylandts Furniture Creations is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman on a contract basis (3-4 months) to support the conversion of existing design assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating current Fusion models and technical drawings into SolidWorks format, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Convert existing Fusion models into SolidWorks format with precision and attention to detail
• Translate and update technical drawings to align with ISO standards
• Verify accuracy and completeness of converted files
• Maintain organized documentation and version control of all drawings
• Collaborate with internal teams to clarify design intent and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure all outputs meet company quality and technical standards

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of Fusion and SolidWorks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and standards
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in furniture or product design
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes
